Food Trade & Business Management

The department of Food Trade and Business Management is added in newly designed syllabus of B.Tech. (Food Tech.). The objectives behind this addition are crystal clear that along with theoretical knowledge of food processing the students should well acquainted with the business skills. Keeping this broad vision FTBM department contains about 5 different courses in V and VI semester.
The department makes students confident in marketing, Finance. It teaches students principles of co-operative movement, business management and International Trade. Entrepreneurship and communication skills are developed in students. The base of students in Food Laws and Regulations is made concrete. Through Seminar student’s stage daring, public speaking skills are developed and finished as well.
