Vision & Mission

VISION:

The vision for MITCFT is to set up an international center of excellence which integrates technological and research aspects of Indian Food processing Industry. The MITCFT will function as a center for integrated education , research and center for entrepreneur development in the area of food science and technology.

“To be an international center of excellence which integrates all the facets of food technology, research and entrepreneurship and to be recognized as the focal point for catalyzing the growth of the food processing Industry in India and in World.”

MISSION:
1)Being a part of MAEERS Institutions, MITCFT belives in value based “Universal Education System” to produce world class food technologist and research scholars in the area of Food technology.
2) To carry out R&D activities related to Food Technology and assist the Government in policy making on Food Processing and also support the Indian Economy.
3)To be a best Academic Institute in the area of food technology, entrepreneurship and offer training programmes and courses of global standards.
4)To function as a active center of Industry –academia interaction and to take a lead in solving Industry based problems by proper consultation.
5) To carry out the food testing activity to support the Food safety and to support the export of processed foods.
6)To support the “Vision Document 2015” of Indian Government by producing the excellent food technologist and entrepreneur
7) To promote the awareness in rural people about hygiene and safety issues related to food also to boost the modarnization of agriculture which is essential component of strong and expanding economy through short term training for rural people.
